Armidale Ultrasound is seeking an experienced Radiologist to join our growing diagnostic imaging practice in the heart of the New England region of NSW.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a genuinely independent, community-focused imaging provider that is committed to keeping high-quality diagnostic services local. As our practice continues to expand, we are looking for a Radiologist who wants more than just a reporting role — someone who wants to contribute to the growth of a thriving regional service and share in its success.

With flexible working arrangements available, this position can be performed remotely, onsite in Armidale, or through a hybrid model.

About Us

Armidale Ultrasound was established with a simple vision: to provide affordable, professional and accessible medical imaging services for the New England community. We are proud to be an independent regional practice dedicated to reducing the need for patients to travel long distances for essential imaging services.

Our clinic provides:

• CT

• General X-ray

• DEXA

• Comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound services

• Vascular ultrasound

• Musculoskeletal ultrasound

• Obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound

• Breast, thyroid, abdominal and paediatric ultrasound

• High-risk obstetric imaging supported by experienced sonographers

We perform virtually all ultrasound examinations excluding echocardiography.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for reporting across our growing imaging service, including:

• CT examinations

• General radiography

• Diagnostic ultrasound

• DEXA studies

The role can be tailored to suit your availability and preferred workload.

Remote reporting infrastructure is available, while onsite Radiologists are supported by an experienced and dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding patient care.

About You

You will have:

• FRANZCR or equivalent specialist qualifications

• Current AHPRA specialist registration

• Eligibility for Medicare provider numbers

• Experience reporting CT, X-ray, ultrasound and DEXA examinations

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• A commitment to quality reporting and patient-centred care
