Are you a recent high school graduate, university student or someone looking to begin a career in Human Resources, Administration, Workplace Health & Safety or Agribusiness?

Vitonga Farms is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to join our People, Culture and Safety team, on a part-time basis. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical workplace experience while developing valuable administrative, HR and safety skills within a large and progressive agricultural business.

This position has been specifically designed to support individuals who are studying or considering careers in:

  • Human Resource Management

  • Psychology

  • Behavioural Science

  • Workplace Health & Safety (WHS)

  • Business Administration

  • Business Management

  • Industrial Relations

  • Agribusiness

  • Agricultural Business Management

Students currently undertaking relevant university degrees, TAFE qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.


About Us

Vitonga Farms is a leading agricultural business based in Moree, NSW, managing extensive citrus orchards, cotton and broadacre farming operations. Working alongside Jemalong Citrus and Grove Juice, our vertically integrated business supplies premium Australian produce to domestic and international markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • General office administration, filing, answering phones, mailing.

  • Supporting recruitment and interview administration.

  • Assisting with workplace health and safety administration.

  • Preparing reports, correspondence and employee communications.

  • Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

  • Maintaining confidentiality of employee and business information.


About You

You will be:

  • A recent school leaver, university student or early-career professional

  • Interested in Human Resources, Psychology, Safety or Business Administration

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Professional and able to maintain confidentiality

  • Competent using Microsoft Office applications

  • Willing to learn and develop new skills

  • Able to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce

  • Driver's licence and car as on farm position.
