Reporting directly to the Director, this role will play a critical part in supporting the financial performance, operational efficiency and strategic direction of the group.

About the Role

This is a hands-on and commercially focused leadership position responsible for overseeing the finance function across multiple entities. The successful candidate will provide accurate financial reporting, strategic insights and operational support while driving process improvements and helping the business achieve its growth objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all financial operations across the group, including reporting, compliance and financial management.

• Preparing monthly management reports, financial statements and performance analysis.

• Managing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning across multiple entities.

• Providing commercial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

• Monitoring business performance against budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators.

• Managing month-end and year-end reporting processes and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.

• Ensuring compliance with all statutory, taxation and regulatory obligations.

• Managing relationships with external accountants, auditors, banks and other professional advisers.

• Identifying and implementing process improvements, automation opportunities and system enhancements.

• Supporting business growth initiatives, acquisitions and strategic projects where required.

• Working closely with the Director to drive profitability, operational efficiency and business performance.

  

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• CA qualification.

• Experience in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar senior finance position.

• Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management experience.

• Proven experience working across multiple entities, business divisions or complex business structures.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse financial information and provide practical business recommendations.

• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
